Product Description

Polyamide 46 Industrial Bristles

Polybutylene adipamide is also known as polyamide 46, commonly known as Nylon Filament 46, or PA46 for short. PA46 engineering plastic is an aliphatic polyamide formed by polycondensation of butanediamine and adipic acid. Although it has a similar molecular structure to Brush Filament 66, it is more resistant to heat and high temperature than other engineering plastics such as PA6, PA66, PPA and polyester. It has technical advantages in mechanical strength, better high temperature resistance, wear resistance etc., and the molding cycle is short, and the processing is more economical. The halogen-free flame retardant nylon 46 bristle V0 grade maintains good mechanical properties up to 220°C, making it more suitable for ultra-high performance applications than PPA, PA6T, PA9T, PPS and LCP. PA46 is applied in high-end Hairbrush Filament, Industrial Brush Filament, Cleaning Brush Filament etc.
